From New York:

– Hutchinson/Merritt Parkway North
to Exit 29 in Connecticut
(Lake Avenue, Greenwich)
– Exit ramp makes a right-turn blend onto Old Mill Rd.
– Come to stop sign at intersection of Lake Avenue
– Make left onto Lake Avenue
– Whitby is 3.5 kilometers away, on the right-hand side of the road (just after you pass St. Barnabas Church on left).

– I-95 North to Exit 3
(Arch Street, Greenwich)
– Left at bottom of ramp onto Arch Street
– Go under highway, thru 2 sets of lights, under railroad bridge – now at intersection of Railroad Avenue
– Straight through intersection, then make very first left onto Sound View Drive
– At top of hill/end of Sound View, make right onto Field Point Rd.
Go to second light.
– Make left at “Y” (at second light). Come to the intersection of Putnam
Avenue…
– Bear to the left at this intersection, but do not make a left-hand turn. You should cross the intersection with the Library on your right and the Exxon station on your left. You are now on Deerfield Drive.
– Come to a traffic circle (roundabout)-yield to oncoming traffic! Exit the circle onto the second road, named Lake Avenue (the first road you pass is also Lake Ave., but goes up to the Hospital – not the one you want). If in doubt, follow signs for “Merritt Parkway”.
– Stay on Lake for a while (~5 miles)
– Whitby is on the right-hand side of the road (just after you pass St. Barnabas' Church on left).
