The 10-year-old virtuoso, a fifth-grader at Whitby School, recently won first place in the Crescendo International Music Competition, an annual contest for instrumentalists of all types ages 5 to 21. He will perform at the competition winner’s recital at Carnegie Hall on Jan. 15.
