School Sale an Opportunity for Learning Economics

"It was really fun to start the business. I would actually like to do the sale again if we could."

Earlier this month, third and fourth graders (learn more about Lower School here) held an in school sale, selling original handmade items to students, parents, faculty and staff.

The sale was directly tied to what they learned in their Economics Unit as they focused on marketing, keeping track of inventory, purchasting materials and calculating profits.
