Our Montessori Children's House staff instills the joy of learning and self-discovery starting at 18 months through Kindergarten. You will find no finer early learning program in the Westchester/Fairfield area.
Your child's story continues in our Lower School, the part of the school that is home to Grades 1-4. The Lower School is a time filled with the excitement of having new teachers, studying new subject areas, going off-campus for field trips, performing in student assemblies, experimenting with various educational technologies, exploring big concepts in IB units of inquiry and making new friendships.
Your child's learning journey culminates in our Middle School for Grades 5-8. The approach in Middle School is guided by a desire to honor our students' need for independence by empowering them to advocate for themselves and to take ownership of their academic work. Our Middle School students take on leadership roles at Whitby by leading school assemblies, organizing community services projects, and partaking in our admissions Student Ambassador program.
