A Message from Whitby’s
Office of Admissions

Thank you for your interest in Whitby, where we provide an enriched continuum of learning for children age 18 months through Grade 8.  

We are a diverse community representing 17 countries and 23 spoken languages joined by a common purpose of inspiring a passion for learning. Our dedicated faculty, staff, and administration partner with our families to provide an extraordinary learning experience for our children. Our students are empowered to take responsibility as open-minded, principled citizens who are engaged in the ever-changing world around them.

As a first step, we encourage you to schedule a virtual overview to hear firsthand what makes Whitby such an extraordinary place for a child to learn and grow.  We’ll introduce you to our classrooms, programs, and a wide range of co-curricular activities.

Our Admissions team considers each child’s degree of maturity and developmental readiness for school and makes every effort to place each child in the grade in which they are most likely to succeed.

Step 3: Apply

Once you complete Whitby’s online inquiry form, you will receive an email with a login to our online Admissions Portal. Within this portal, you can complete the online application and submit all supporting recommendations and school transfer documents.
