We're a community of educators dedicated to helping students develop a passion for learning while empowering them to become open-minded, principled citizens in a global community. Whitby’s staff and faculty are passionate about teaching because we ourselves are passionate about learning. From Professional Development to Professional Learning Communities, what better way to model a love of learning to our students than to embrace opportunities for growth ourselves?
Do you see challenge as an opportunity for growth? So do we. Our faculty and staff are encouraged to collaborate, reflect and challenge one another on a regular basis. Sure, sometimes these conversations can cause friction - but these open and honest exchanges help us to become out-of-the-box thinkers, and stimulate new and innovative ideas in education.
If you just laughed at this title then you're definitely in the right place. We love people who laugh, but we've got a serious side too. We're serious about hiring the best people - rock stars. And we're also serious about passing over those who associate work with just going through the motions - robots.
