Many parents start the Whitby educational journey because they’ve heard about our Montessori program. They’ve heard that it inspires students to become passionate, lifelong learners. Our Children’s House teachers have been inspiring children since the American Montessori Society was founder at Whitby over 60 years ago.
Lower School classrooms are vibrant and exciting places to learn. It is where Whitby students begin to develop the skills to become agents for their own learning and embrace the IB learner profile principles.
The Whitby Middle School is not a “waiting room” for high school. How we teach and the programming we deliver is intentionally designed to support the academic and specific social-emotional needs of middle students.
Each year, Whitby’s alumni, families, and friends come together to further our mission by making financial contributions to the school above and beyond tuition.
