With the guidance of both Montessori and International Baccalaureate training, our faculty strive to help students develop a passion for learning within a global community.

Support From the Top

Professional learning communities are a major part of Whitby’s culture and encouraged throughout all levels of the Whitby Faculty. By regularly attending seminars, conferences, and training courses, groups of internal faculty and staff meet to discuss and present their findings. They have reflective conversations and explore ways to improve the Whitby Education. This continued support allows for our teachers to investigate educational areas of interest, as well as experiment with new educational techniques and strategies within the classroom.
