Library Media Center Program
The goals of the Whitby School Library Media Center program
are to provide access to materials that support the curriculum on
every level, to provide a context for research and study skills,
and to encourage reading and independent learning as life long
activities.
In addition to providing materials for students and professional
resources for faculty, parenting education resources, materials
about Montessori and the International Baccalaureate are available.
All families are encouraged to borrow materials. Volunteers are
always welcome.
Whitby students and their families are encouraged to use our
subscription-based databases for research and pleasure reading. Not
only do these databases provide quality information for all ages,
they are safe, regulated, educational sites.
