A Message from Whitby’s Office of Admissions

Thank you for your interest in Whitby, where we provide an enriched continuum of learning for children age 18 months through Grade 8.  

Hailing from 17 countries and speaking 23 languages, we are a diverse group brought together by a common purpose of inspiring a passion for learning. We are a warm and welcoming community of dedicated educators who partner with our families to provide an extraordinary learning experience for our children. Our students are empowered to take responsibility as open-minded, principled citizens who are engaged in the ever-changing world around them.

We are excited to share our wonderful school. As a first step, we encourage you to schedule a virtual tour to learn first hand the wonders of Whitby. We’ll introduce you to our classrooms, programs, wide-ranging co-curricular activities and athletics program.

Our Admissions team takes into consideration each child’s degree of maturity and developmental readiness for school and makes every effort to place each child into the grade in which he or she is most likely to succeed.
